I’m finally feeling like myself again after a pretty rough time last month. I can’t tell you how thankful I am to feel productive and inspired again.

I’m not 100% but I definitely feel more like myself again. I did a podcast sharing the whole experience you can check out below.


I wanted to send you this note and let you know that healing is possible for you.

Whenever I’m feeling down my brain loves to lie to me and tell me that I’ll never feel better and life will always be hard.

The truth is that life comes in seasons.

If you’re struggling right now I want you to know that I truly believe that are better days waiting for you in the future.

Here are a few things I did to help me get through life when it felt really hard.

I gave myself grace. We’re so hard on ourselves. It’s OK if you’re having a hard time. Yes, you’re going to have to take action but you can’t use the fact that you’re struggling as an excuse to beat yourself up.

I focused on the positive. When you feel like crap it can be really easy to focus on everything in your life that’s not working or going that great. The truth is we’re surrounded by blessings every moment of every day. It can be hard when you feel down to remember that but I really believe practicing gratitude throughout the day can make a big difference in how you feel.

Listen to positivity. If I’m being honest my mindset kind of sucked last month. I was just feeling down and that meant my inner dialogue was often negative. I did my best to balance out all of my negative thoughts by listening to positive messages on audiobooks and podcasts.

Mostly I just wanted to tell you that when you feel like you’re not going to feel better that’s not the truth.

The truth is you can heal.

You can overcome.

You can transform.
