I’ve always read about all the great benefits of meditating but it’s always been really hard for me.
If I’m anxious the last thing I want to do is freaking meditate.
I’ve found that guided meditation really helps me calm down when I’m anxious and I’m able to start feeling better faster.
I also like that you can do these with headphones on anywhere you have your phone.
I always end up doing them at the airport before I get on flights because that is when my anxiety is at it’s freaking worse (check out my travel anxiety survival guide here).

I hope these meditations and visualizations for anxiety help you out. I have found that doing this on a regular basis has really helped me learn how to control my anxiety.
The more I practice getting into a calm and relaxed state the easier it is to do when I’m anxious and freaking the heck out.
I usually try to do them at night before I go to sleep but you can fit them in wherever you have time during the day.
This is a great self-care practice to start doing every day.
